Howard Knocks Off New District Foe Bradley Central 58-52

Chattanooga-(WDEF-TV) The Howard basketball team was pushed up into the state’s biggest basketball classification this season…the new 4A class. Doesn’t seem to faze the Hustlin’ Tigers. They beat district for Bradley Central 58-52 on Tuesday at Howard. Hustlin’ Tigers went up 13 points in the first half before the Bears tied it at halftime. Bradley Central then took a five point lead into the fourth quarter, when the Hustlin’ Tigers came to life, especially Mark Greer.  He had a fourth point play early in the fourth quarter to put the Hustlin’ Tigers up by four points. He had a game high 21 points.  Karter Howard paced the Bears with 11. Howard finished the game with 18 steals. Howard improves to 5-0 on the year and 2-0 in district play. Bradley Central falls to 2-4 and 1-1 in the district.
