Humane Society Hosts Furfest

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) – There are about 500 animals at the Hamilton county Humane Society Shelter, and this Saturday, you’ll have a chance to find that perfect pet for your family.

It’s called Furfest, and there will be a part atmosphere as the crowd adopts a pet at a low cost.

There’ll another thing that’s different.

“The wine tasting is something that’s always nice. So, you know it helps drive people here ..course, you know when we have a lot of people ..the wait times increase..so it’ll be great to kind of mosey around…get involved with some things..learn some things about us ..and also, who doesn’t like to do a little wine tasting while you’re here,” said Bob Citrullo.

The cost is 50-dollars for dogs, 15 for cats and that includes the spay and neuter and a micro-chip.
