I-75 shut down at Ringgold Road due to crash

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — There is a multi-vehicle crash on I-75 northbound near Ringgold Road and the I-24 split.

TDOT shows that the crash happened just before 4 p.m.

East Ridge Police say I-75 is shut down at the welcome center temporarily.

The crash involved a Dodge Durango and an 18-wheeler.

Police said one person is trapped.
