Airline App Logs People Into Wrong Accounts
Customers using the Qantas app found themselves being logged into other users’ accounts due to a glitch. The Australian airline’s flyers saw different names, flight details, and points balances when they logged in. “I was Sally, now I am Caroline, and I’m going to Singapore, not Brisbane,” one user complained. Flyers even had access to boarding passes for other customers. Others joked about getting better seats for the person they were logged in as.
