Billionaire’s Wife Wants To Buy Woman’s Instagram Handle

A billionaire’s wife has been accused of bullying an Instagram user who has the same name. Katherine Asplundh, the new bride of Cabot Asplundh, reportedly wanted to change her username to reflect her new last name, only to find another Katherine Asplundh already had the handle. According to screenshots posted to subreddit “NYC Incfluencers Snark,” the bride offered to buy the handle, but was turned down by the original Katherine Asplundh. The billionaire’s wife then claimed the owner of the username was lying and not using her “real” name.

According to the screenshots, both women ended up reporting the other’s behavior to Instagram. Following the post, more Instagram handles with the name “Katharine Asplundh” have appeared. (NY Post)
