Booty-shaking Basketball Tournament Canceled

A women’s basketball tournament that was supposed to take place in a New Jersey school next month has been canceled for its raunchy theme. The “Nothing But [expletive] Celebrity Baddies Basketball contest, according to the promo video, would have featured women playing the sport in thongs. Newark Public Schools spokesperson Nancy Deering said the tournament was supposed to be a community event, but was quickly canceled when promo footage was released. “No school or district official approved the activity depicted in the video,” Deering said. Tournament Organizer and music manager Big Fendi apologized. “We were doing the event, and things went a little left and out of control,” he said. It’s unclear if the tournament will be rescheduled at a more appropriate venue. (TMZ)
