Brazilian Woman Allegedly Uses Corpse To Co-sign Loan
A Brazilian woman allegedly rolled the corpse of a man into a bank to get him to “co-sign” a loan. Bank customer Erika de Souza Vieira Nunes can be spotted on video standing next to the deceased, who is in a wheelchair. She appears to hold up his head and asks him to sign financial documents for a $3,400 loan.
A bank worker pointed out that the man’s skin color looked “off.” Police were called and arrested Nunes.
It was later discovered that the man in the wheelchair had been dead for several hours.
Nunes could face charges relating to theft through fraud and abuse of a corpse. (NY Post)
