China Set To Complete World’s Highest Bridge
China is on track to finish building the world’s highest bridge in the second half of 2025. The Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge will be 625 meters long and sit 2,051 feet above the Beipan River. “At present, the overall progress of the bridge has reached 95%, and it is planned to be opened to traffic in the second half of 2025,” engineer Zhang Shenglin said. Crossing the canyon currently takes an hour, but that travel time will be reduced to one minute once the bridge has been completed. (Oddity Central)
