Colorado Man Survives Shooting Due To Necklace

A Colorado man was saved from a gunshot wound to the neck…by his silver chain. The Commerce City Police Department released photos of the bloodied necklace with parts of a bullet still lodged in-between links. According to the Facebook post, if the victim had not been wearing the chain, the bullet would have gone through his neck, which would have likely been fatal. “The .22 caliber bullet was fired during an argument and would have ended up in the victim’s neck had it not instead become lodged in the chain he was wearing,” police wrote in the post. “As a result, he suffered only a puncture wound.” Some commenters said this was nothing short of a miracle. “Angels watching over,” one user commented.
