Couple Finds Medieval Gargoyle Behind Toilet

A British couple found a medieval mask in their bathroom while cleaning. Tracy and Rory Vorster were unaware that they were sharing their home with a 14th-century gargoyle. The stone carving was underneath a wooden panel.

The home once belonged to a vicar. A survey of the property describes the carving as a “grotesque mask which forms the drain.”

“My plans for it are to just enjoy it, because of how interesting it is. I have a desire to upkeep it,” the father-of-three and current occupant said. (Good News Network)
