Daniel Radcliffe Wrote A Letter To New ‘Harry Potter’ Actor, Got ‘Sent A Very Sweet Note Back’

Daniel Radcliffe reached out to Dominic McLaughlin, the young actor cast as Harry Potter in HBO’s upcoming series reboot. Speaking on Good Morning America, Radcliffe revealed he wrote McLaughlin a letter and “sent him a letter and he sent me a very sweet note back.” The original Harry Potter actor, who starred in eight films from 2001 to 2011, told the child star: “I hope you have the best time, and an even better time than I did — I had a great time, but I hope you have an even better time.” McLaughlin will star alongside Arabella Stanton as Hermione and Alastair Stout as Ron in the HBO series, set to debut in 2027. The show will cover one J.K. Rowling book per season over nearly a decade of production. (Story URL)
