Alec Baldwin says he had suicidal thoughts after prosecutors filed a second charge in the fatal Rust shooting. “The people I was most concerned about, the people that I had the deepest pain for, were my wife and my kids,” he said in a new podcast interview. Caila Quinn Burrello, known from Season 20 of The Bachelor, has announced the birth of her third child. She and her husband, Nick Burrello, welcomed a baby boy named Grayson Paul Burrello, she shared in an Instagram post over the weekend. “After a smooth c-section we’ve been soaking in all of the scrunchie cuddles with baby boy,” Quinn Burrello wrote. Helen Siff, a veteran character actress with more than 70 film and TV credits, has died at 88 after a “long, painful illness.” Siff’s career started in 1981 on Lou Grant and she went on to appear in Cagney & Lacy, L.A. Law, Scrubs, Modern Family, and Good Trouble. Her film work included The Karate Kid, Hail, Caesar, and You Don’t Mess With the Zohan. (Story URL)
Former The Voice contestant Kata Hay, whose legal name is Kata Huddleston, was arrested in Oklahoma on Dec. 17. for being a fugitive from justice in Tennessee. Her court appearance is set for Jan. 22. Police in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, had sought public help to find Hay, who was wanted “for vehicular homicide in connection with a motor vehicle crash.” (Story URL)
Stranger Things co-creator Ross Duffer confirmed the runtimes for the show’s final four episodes. The first four episodes of Season 5 premiered on Nov. 26. The next three will arrive on Christmas Day, and the finale will debut on New Year’s Eve. According to Duffer, most are just over an hour, while the finale, “The Rightside Up,” runs two hours and eight minutes. (Story URL)
SeaWorld Orlando announced Sunday that killer whale Katina died at age 50 after her health declined during her geriatric years. Animal care teams closely monitored her condition before “the decision was made to prioritize her comfort and welfare.” She died surrounded by teams who worked with her for nearly 40 years.
