Former Brazilian Mayor Joins Video Call On The Toilet

The ex-mayor of Rio de Janeiro, Cesar Maia, was caught on the toilet during a video call. Maia appeared to be sitting on the bowl when he joined a virtual city council meeting discussing designating a cultural heritage site. Maia appears to be unaware that he’s on video. Moments into the call, president councillor Pablo Mello asks the ex-mayor to turn his camera off. Mello can be seen moving the microphone away from his own mouth as he holds back laughter. Maia said he was feeling unwell, which damaged his “perception” of the camera. (Sky News)
