Is This Mayor A Chinese Spy?

A mayor in the Philippines has gone into hiding after being accused of being a Chinese spy. Police have a warrant for Alice Guo, but were unable to arrest her as she was not found at any of her residences. Scam centers linked to China were discovered in her town of Bambam in March. The centers used online casinos as a cover for illegal activity. Guo posted on Facebook that she would be temporarily absent. “Sorry for not being physically present with each one of you. I miss you all,” her statement reads. (BBC)
