Japan Airlines Flight Canceled After Pilot Got Drunk

A Japan Airlines flight from Dallas to Tokyo was canceled after the pilot allegedly got drunk and a replacement could not be found in time. The pilot apparently drank in a Dallas restaurant, in the hotel lounge, and then in his room. Around 2 a.m. on Tuesday, his behavior prompted a call to police. The airline reportedly canceled the flight in order to assess the captain’s well-being. Japan Airlines transferred 157 passengers to alternative flights. (Business Insider)
