Job Application Returned After 50 Years
Think the job hunt is rough? A British woman who applied for a job as a motorcycle stunt rider finally received her application back…50 years later. Tizi Hodson, now 70, sent in her application by mail in January 1976. “I always wondered why I never heard back about the job. Now I know why,” Hodson said. The letter arrived back in her mailbox with a note saying: “Late delivery by Staines Post Office. Found behind a [drawer]. Only about 50 years late.” Even though her dream was to be a motorcycle stunt rider, Hodson went on to become a snake handler, aerobatic pilot, and flying instructor. (UPI)
