Kids Discover A Teen T. Rex
Three kids have discovered the bones of a young Tyrannosaurus Rex that could help scientists learn more about how these animals developed. Siblings Liam and Jessin Fisher discovered the bones in 2022 along with their cousin Kaiden Madsen while exploring Hell Creek, North Dakota. The kids send a photo to Dr. Tyler Lyson, who later led an excavation team to uncover the fossil. Juvenile T. Rex bones are rare, and such a find could help researchers learn exactly how the predator grew from a hatchling to a fearsome 8,000-pound adult. (Study Finds)
