Kite Surfer Spells Help In The Sand, Is Rescued

A kite surfer was rescued from a California beach south of Davenport after writing “HELP” in the sand. The daredevil was saved on Sunday after a pilot in a private helicopter saw the letters in the sand. Cal Fire, Santa Cruz Fire, and California state parks crews were then called in to help. Helicopters used a long line to pull the kite surfer from the secluded beach onto a rock formation. Fortunately, he did not need medical attention. (AOL)
