Man Caught On Zoom Driving With Suspended License…Never Had A License
Michigan man Corey Harris became an internet sensation when he attended a court call while driving with a suspended license. However, there’s a new twist in the case: While Harris has claimed that he didn’t know his license was still suspended, it turns out that he’s never had a license at all. “He has never had a license. Ever. And has never had a license in any of the other 49 states or commonwealths that make up this country,” Washtenaw County District Court Judge J. Cedric Simpson said. When Harris was 19, he applied for his first Michigan I.D., which was not a license. Harris’s license privileges were suspended in 2010 due to unpaid child support, and a judge lifted the suspension in 2022, court records show. However, this applies to the privilege of obtaining a license, and is not a license itself. (Atlanta Blackstar)
