Man Charged With Disorderly Conduct For Public Nudity, Including Chainsaw Use

Paul Severson, a 66-year-old Lake Crystal, Minnesota resident, faces disorderly conduct charges after multiple reports of public nudity outside his home. Police filed a November 4th misdemeanor complaint following witness accounts of Severson performing yard work without clothing. One witness told authorities Severson “was chain sawing while ‘butt-ass naked.'” A sheriff’s deputy observed the nude suspect “appear from beside a shed” and informed him he “could not be naked outside with children around and people driving by.” The charges stem from an October incident when a child riding the school bus saw Severson naked outside his residence.
