Man Turns Australia’s Largest Pumpkin Into Boat
An Australian man took a 900-pound pumpkin, named Tormound, and turned it into a boat that he paddled down the Tumut River.
Mark Peacock grew the award-winning pumpkin, and his friend Adam Farquharson asked if he could have it after the Royal Easter Show.
Farquharson hallowed out the pumpkin and christened it “Cinderella.” Then, he paddled downstream for about a mile while 1,000 spectators watched.
“I’ve paddled that river so many times, [but] that’s the most fun I’ve ever had floating down the Tumut River,” he said. (UPI)
