Milan Might Ban Late-Night Takeaway
Better get your pizza and gelato early: Late-night takeaway orders might soon become illegal in Milan. Deputy mayor of security said the ban is meant to maintain a “balance between sociability and entertainment and the peace and health of residents.” The proposed ban would forbid outside sale of food or drinks between 12:30 a.m. and 6 a.m. on weekdays, and after 1:30 a.m. on weekends. The law, if passed, would go into effect next month and last through the tourism season. (The Takeout)
