Neuralink Employee Claims A Herpes-infected Monkey Scratched Her

A former Neuralink employee is now suing the startup, claiming that a herpes-infected monkey scratched her while she was pregnant. The woman also alleges that she was fired for being with child. Lindsay Short claimed in a California state court on Friday that she was subject to a hostile, unsafe, and discriminatory work environment. Short says that not only was she scratched by a monkey twice, but was scolded for seeking medical treatments. The chip implant startup put one of its chips in a person in February. (QZ)
