North Korea Defector Allegedly Stole Bus To Re-enter Country

A defector living in South Korea allegedly stole a bus to try to re-enter North Korea. The unnamed man fled North Korea over a decade ago and has been living in South Korea as a day laborer. After allegedly stealing a bus, the man attempted to drive into North Korea by crossing the Unification Bridge. He ultimately crashed into a barricade and was arrested. The man reportedly said he was struggling with his profession and had accumulated unpaid fines. If convicted, he faces 10 years in prison. (newser)
