Ohio Man Cancels Bank Card To Escape Gym Fees
Ohio man Doug Mattison wanted to cancel his gym membership, but found the process to be nearly impossible. The website didn’t allow the 59-year-old to cancel online, so he went to the location in-person, where employees said they weren’t authorized to make any changes to his account. Finally, Mattison decided to cancel his bank card instead. “The bank even said that they see this happening a lot,” Mattison said of customers having trouble canceling subscriptions.
