Parents Find 60,000 Bees In Girl’s Room

Usually when a child complains about monsters, these phantoms are a figment of their imaginations. At least, that’s what the North Carolina parents of three-year-old Saylor Class thought when the girl began to complain of something in her wall. The family had just watched Monsters, Inc. when the girl started to report monsters in her room. “We even gave her a bottle of water and said it was monster spray so that she could spray away any of the monsters at night,” Ms. Massis Class said.

However, when Class noticed swarms of bees near the attic, she decided to call a pest control company. Sure enough, there was a monster hive of 60,000 bees in the walls. The insects will be relocated to a honeybee sanctuary. They did about $20,000 worth in damages to the Charlotte home. (BBC)
