These States Drink The Most Beer

According to Spherical Insights data, North Dakotans drink 45.8 gallons of beer per capita every year. This is about 631 cans of beer. Nationally, New Hampshire is in second place at 43.9 gallons. The craft brewing industry in the Granite State provides 4,000 jobs! When it comes to taxes, Wyoming has the lowest beer tax at just two cents per gallon. Utah residents drink the least amount of beer of all the states. Their citizens consume only 20.2 gallons per capita annually. This could be due to religious influence. The state also bans “happy hour” discounts. (Newsweek)
