This Pineapple Will Cost Up To $400
Fresh Del Monte is offering a pink, Rubyglow Pineapple that is selling for up to $395. The fruit, which features a reddish-pink shell and a yellow interior, took over 15 years to develop in Costa Rica. The Rubyglow pineapple first launched in January and there is now a waitlist for the product. It takes two years for one pineapple to grow. A Fresh Del Monte representative says the Rubyglow “is sure to impress as a unique gift or served as a creative way to entertain guests.” The cost to get on the wait list is $125, but Melissa’s Produce is selling it for $395.
