Wells Fargo Fires Employees For Allegedly Faking Work

Wells Fargo fired over a dozen employees for allegedly faking work. More specifically, the employees were suspected of simulating keyboard activity to make it seem like they were being more productive than they were. It’s unclear if these workers were faking work from home. In early 2022, Wells Fargo asked most employees to come back to the office and work under a hybrid model. “Wells Fargo holds employees to the highest standards and does not tolerate unethical behavior,” a representative for the bank said.
