Woman Asked To Bring Rental To Get An Oil Change
A woman claims in a viral TikTok that she had to bring her Avis rental car to get an oil change. Courtney, known on TikTok as @theirishsparkle, took a video of herself holding Avis paperwork while getting the vehicle serviced. “POV: You rented a car and they immediately make you take it in for an oil change,” the text overlaying the video says. Courtney claims the Avis employees told her this was a “normal practice.” However, commenters did not agree. “That’s straight up negligent maintenance, ask to speak with an area manager,” one said. Others shared their rental horror stories. “Hertz gave me one with dry rotted tires. And then tried to make me pay for the tire when one blew out,” one user alleged. (Daily Dot)
