Iesha Jones convicted of murder during a drug deal/robbery

Iesha JonesCHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – A jury convicted 29 year old Iesha Ariona Jones of killing a man in a drug deal that went badly.
Prosecutors say Jones and her husband went to the apartment of Norman Sullivan to get drugs from him in 2018.
Testimony at the trial says they offered gift cards and sex with Jones for the drugs, but Sullivan refused.
Sullivan’s brother said she had exchanged sex for drugs with Sullivan before.
The husband, Domanic Gillespie and Harrison got into a fight and Gillespie pulled his gun.
But prosecutors say it got loose in the fight.
They say Jones picked it up and shot Sullivan twice in the head.
Jones gets an automatic life sentence for the verdict, which means she won’t be eligible for parole until after 51 years.
Domanic Gillespie still faces a court date on murder charges in the case.
