CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The Incline Railway is offering seasonal promotions to make the railway experience more affordable.

From November 10, 2025 to March 1, 2026, children 12 years old and under can ride free with a paying adult.

This is part of two seasonal promotions at the Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) attraction.

This offer is limited to one child per paying adult.

How It Works

  • One child (12 and under) rides free with each paying adult
  • Two children = two adults; three children = three adults
  • Simple one-to-one ratio

The offer runs daily except Thanksgiving week (November 24–30) and Christmas week (December 22–28).

The Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) owns and operates the Incline Railway.

“Every child deserves a mountain adventure. This makes it easier for families to experience the Incline together and enjoy the views, history, and unforgettable moments that make it such a unique part of our city for 130 years.”

– Charles Frazier, CARTA CEO said.

Discounted annual passes will also be available from November 16, 2025 to December 31, 2025.

Adult Annual Passes will be $59 (regularly $75) and child Annual Passes will be $29 (regularly $40).

Tickets are available online at www.ridetheincline.com or at the Incline ticket office.

For Kids Ride Free, families should select children’s tickets during checkout—the 100% discount for eligible children will apply automatically, according CARTA.
