Individuals identified following Griffith Elementary School arrest

Sequatchie County authorities have released the names of the pair arrested last week at Griffith Elementary School.

The Sheriff says a woman came to the school to get her child.

Witnesses say she seemed to be intoxicated so they called the Sheriff.

Deputies say they spotted drugs and weapons in her vehicle.

The charged 45-year-old Amanda Yax and 57-year old James Dixon with possession of meth.

The child was not at school but with the grandmother at the time.
