Insure Tennessee fails again

The proposal to extend health coverage to 280,000 low-income Tennesseans was defeated 6-2 in the Senate Commerce Committee.  

It was resurrected in the Senate Health Committee just last week.

The prospects for passage this last time were slim, even though Haslam tried to make his case with individual committee members.
