Investigators believe North Carolina shooting last weekend was accidental

MURPHY, North Carolina (WDEF) – Investigators in North Carolina believe a weekend shooting was an accident.

Sheriff’s officers responded to a shooting on Saturday.

The 19 year old from Union County, Georgia, died from his wounds.

Cherokee County investigators interviewed witnesses and say their investigation is ongoing.

But today, the Sheriff posted that they believe the shooting was accidental due to negligence.
