Investigators say Bakewell shooting started with an argument at the gas pumps

BAKEWELL, Tennessee (WDEF) – Hamilton County investigators say the shooting Monday night in Bakewell was not gang related.

It happened at a gas station at 13424 Dayton Pike around 5 PM.

Investigators say it began with a verbal argument between two men at the pumps that quickly escalated into a shooting.

33 year old Adam Brown is being treated at the hospital for his wound.

Deputies arrested 29 year old Donald Stuard, II later Monday evening at his home in Rhea County.
