Investigators say K-9 sniffs out meth in Marion County

GUILD, Tennessee (WDEF) – Drug Task Force Agents credit one of their K-9 officers with sniffing out some meth suspects in Marion County last week.

They were investigating suspected meth dealing at a home on Ladds Swith Road in the town of Guild on Friday.

They say Marion County K-9 Gwyn picked up on the odor of a large amount of cash inside a vehicle blocking a county road.

Then they got a warrant to search the home where it was parked.

They say they seized $25,000 in cash, meth and two vehicles at the home and arrested five people.

Laura Jo Gann (home owner), Barry Lynn Cluck and Lesia Elizabeth Guinn were charged with possession for re-sale.

Ernest Tariq Dayquan Campbell and Japerri Lynnique-Chavez Evans were charged with conspiracy to distribute.
