Iran plans to make an offer to U.S., Trump tells Reuters

President Trump told the Reuters news agency that Iran plans to make an offer to the U.S. that would satisfy Washington’s demands as a new round of peace talks are expected to take place in Pakistan.

“They’re making an offer and we’ll have to see,” Mr. Trump told Reuters in a phone interview Friday.

The president said he didn’t immediately know details about the offer, Reuters reported.

Mr. Trump wouldn’t tell the news agency which individuals his administration was negotiating with.

“We’re dealing with the people that are in charge now,” he said.
