Their website states the project will be located on Access Road, where the North River Industrial Park has been built, which looks to revitalize a historically prominent industrial district.
Sam Wills, the Regional Director for thw Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, said, “For long term residents of Chattanooga, we go back to DuPont to understand how vibrant DuPont was, and over time how it has been adversely impacted, but now we are seeing the reverse impact, we’re seeing growth opportunities that are coming into that part of the city, and that’s really exciting.”
The project will create 26 new jobs and lead to a nearly 4 million dollar investment.
