Jason Chen gets indicted

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — A jury has indicted Jason Chen, the man accused of killing Jasmine Pace late last year.

They are indicting him for first-degree premeditated murder and abuse of a corpse, according to the district attorney’s office.

Jail records show that 22-year-old Chen is still in custody on a $5 million bond.

In February, the judge decided there was probable cause to believe Chen murdered Pace.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office arrested Chen in November. They charged him with criminal homicide.
