JOE FRUGAL: 2014 Black Friday Preview 1 of 5: Best Buy

All this week, I’m highlighting some of the better deals at big box stores over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

Let’s begin with Best Buy, where doors open at 5pm Thursday, 11/27.

• Beats by Dr. Dre Solo HD On-Ear Headphones will be $79.99.
• Several Playstation 4 and Xbox One games will be marked down to $19.99.
• There will be an in-store only deal on a 50" Panasonic 1080p LED HDTV for $199.99.
• Several new CD’s will be $6.99, including releases from Taylor Swift, Sam Smith, and Blake Shelton.
• The Jawbone Up24 fitness wristband will be $79.99. That’s the best price I’ve seen, excluding club stores.

Keep in mind these aren’t the only deals at this retailer… just one’s that stood out when compared with similar sales at other retailers.
