JOE FRUGAL: Diapers, Corsets, Wedding Gowns, Cowboy Hats and Other Tax Free Items in Tennessee
Tennessee’s sales tax holiday returns this weekend.
You wont have to pay tax on clothing and school supply items under $100 or computers priced less than $1,500.
But a host of other things will be exempt from taxes.
Stock up on diapers, because there’s no duty on their doodie this weekend.
Also, if you need a corset, for aesthetic or medical purposes, those are tax free.
In addition — the Governor will not be asking for his cut on purchases of Graduation Caps and Gowns, cowboy hats, Bandanas, Ponchos and Wedding Gowns, if you can find one under $100.
The tax holiday ends Sunday at 11:59pm.
