JOE FRUGAL: Veterans Day Deals and Freebies

     Veterans will have their pick today when it comes to where to eat, as dozens of restaurants will honor Veterans Day with special discounts and freebies.
     Here’s where Vets can get a free meal:
     Applebees, Bar Louie, Chicken Salad Chick, Chili’s, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, Hooters, Little Caesar’s, McDonalds, O’Charleys, Olive Garden, Red Robin and Smokey Bones.

     These restaurants offer a free meal at a certain time:
     Buffalo Wild Wings (between 4pm-7pm)
     Denny’s (5am-Noon)
     Golden Corral (5pm-9pm)
     IHOP (7am-7pm)
     Krystal (6am-11am)
     Ryans (11am-2pm)
     Texas Roadhouse (lunch)

     These restaurants offer a free appetizer or menu item:
     Bonefish Grill, Carrabbas, Einstein Bros Bagels, Krispy Kreme, Outback, Red Lobster, Ruby Tuesday, Shoneys, and Starbucks.

     These restaurants offer a free desert:
     Cracker Barrel and Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt.

     These locations will offer a discount:
     Logan’s Roadhouse (10%)
     Harvest Grocery in Hixson (25% on hot food bar offerings)
