Joe Greene named Tennessee Grocers & Convenience Store Association Retailer of the Year

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The Board of Directors of the Tennessee Grocers & Convenience Store Association has recognized Joe Greene as its 2026 Retailer of the Year.

The Retailer of the Year designation represents the highest honor bestowed by the organization’s member leadership and traditionally goes to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievement and meaningful industry and community involvement, according to the Tennessee Grocers & Convenience Store Association.

Greene will be recognized at the association’s annual Convention & Expo in Chattanooga, Tennessee, June 2–4, 2026.

Greene has more than 45 years of experience in the grocery industry.

In his current role, he oversees produce and floral operations for Food City’s 140-store chain spanning five states.
