Junior Clay Turns Up Clutch Down the Stretch to Lead McCallie Over Baylor

Chattanooga-(WDEF) McCallie guard Junior Clay scored nine straight points from the field late in the fourth quarter to lift the Blue Tornado over
rival Baylor 59-45 on Friday at McCallie.
Tight first half with McCallie leading by just four at halftime.
With the third quarter winding down, McCallie’s Jay Gibson hit a three-pointer to beat the buzzer as the Blue Tornado carried a ten-point
advantage into the final period.
Baylor’s Tre Jackson hit a couple of three-pointers to start the fourth.
The Red Raiders eventually cut the lead to 44-41 before Clay went clutch.
He hit a little bank shot to make it 46-41, and then on McCallie’s next trip down the floor he drained a three-pointer to get the lead to eight.
McCallie cruised from there with a 14-point victory.
