Essence Ware, who is 14-years-old, is one of the shooting victims.
She says, “Labrecia and Keniqua, all of us, we deserve justice. For us to come out here to just chill and party, I feel like none of this should have happened that night.”
D’Andray Thomas started The Strive Club to help people make healthier choices.
The club hosts an annual march.
But today, they were marching for justice.
Thomas says, “We are praying that somebody comes forward and share some type of information. There were a lot of people out here and they seen stuff. I know a lot of people are petrified. They are scared right now. It’s a serious situation. But, it is serious for those families as well. It is serious for these girls who have been shot. Some lost their lives and some will never be the same again and we need justice y’all.”
