Juvenile arrested after making threats against Tyner Middle School
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — A juvenile has been arrested after making a threat against Tyner Middle School.
At 3:50 p.m., March 4, 2025, Tyner Middle School’s School Resource Deputy (SRD) was made aware of a threat made by a student.
According to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), a student threatened to shoot up the school.
The SRD located the student, and admitted to making the threat.
The juvenile was arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center, and is being charged with Threat of Mass Violence.
