Juvenile arrested and charged with assault after Eureka Road paintball incident
BRADLEY COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — A juvenile has been arrested following a paintball incident on Eureka Road a few weeks ago.
On Saturday, April 5, 2025, the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) responded to a report of reckless driving on Eureka Road.
This incident involved an individual who was struck by a projectile, believing to be from a paintball gun, from a moving vehicle.
BCSO made contact with the victim at a nearby gas station on Georgetown Road.
According to BCSO, the complainant reported being hit in the chest by the paintball while driving with the window down.
Yellow paint could be seen on the victim’s chest, along with the interior and exterior of the vehicle.
An investigation led by BCSO revealed the suspected vehicle, a silver Toyota Sequoia, was located in Meigs County.
BCSO located the individuals associated with the vehicle.
Among these individuals were several juveniles who were in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
One of them admitted to authorities that a passenger shot the paintball gun, intending to hit a stop sign.
The individuals claimed they were unaware the paintball struck anyone until seeing posts on social media about the incident.
The juvenile responsible for discharging the paintball gun was identified and arrested.
They are being charged with assault, vandalism, and reckless endangerment.
