Juvenile arrested following vehicle pursuit on Dayton Pike
HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. — A juvenile has been arrested following a vehicle pursuit on Dayton Pike at Sequoyah Road.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) says a deputy attempted to stop a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on March 26, 2026.
They say the vehicle failed to stop, initiating a pursuit down Sequoyah Road to the 2500 block of Igou Ferry Road.
The vehicle pursuit came to an end once the driver jumped a curb and wrecked the vehicle.
All people inside the vehicle are juveniles, including the driver, who was arrested and transported by deputies to the hospital.
The juvenile driver faces the following charges, according to the HCSO:
- Felony Reckless Endangerment
- Felony Evading
- Vandalism
- Joyriding
