Juvenile Charged in 2024 North Bishop Drive Homicide

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — A juvenile has been charged in the January 9, 2024 shooting that occurred on North Bishop Drive.

The suspect is charged with First Degree Murder and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, according to the Chattanooga Police Department.

The suspect was taken into custody in another jurisdiction and will be transported back to Hamilton County.

Around 6: 30 p.m. on January 9, Chattanooga Police responded to a person shot call and arrived to a 57-year-old man with life-threatening injuries.

EMS transported the man to a local hospital, but he later died.
